“Breath of Life - A Caregiver’s Guide to Pediatric Tracheostomy Care” is an educational video that presents the real-life activities of a couple caring for their young daughter with a tracheostomy. This half-hour comprehensive training video, filmed entirely in the home environment, focuses specifically on pediatric tracheostomy care. The program is divided into sections that display actual hands-on procedures for suction, trach ties, cleaning the stoma and trach change. Information regarding humidity, warning signs, and creating a travel kit is also provided, along with general healthcare tips.
